Thanks to a partnership with Ohio University Chillicothe, students, faculty, staff and community patrons now have access to a collection of new and bestselling books and nontraditional items available for checkout right inside the Quinn Library!

The new Community Collection features fiction and nonfiction books for all ages, as well as a hammock and disc golf kit, part of CRCPL’s Beyond Books offerings. It will be stocked with popular bestsellers and books hot off the press, giving OUC visitors priority access to these titles with no waiting.

Patrons can browse materials and use the handy self-serve kiosk with barcode scanner to check them out.

To check out items from the Community Collection, OUC visitors are invited to register for a free CRCPL library card. Upon registration, patrons will receive a temporary barcode that will allow them to immediately check out 3 books and have access to all of CRCPL’s online resources.

Patrons wishing to check out more than 3 books or Beyond Books items just need to visit any CRCPL location and present their photo ID.
