Ohio University Chillicothe Community Collection

Thanks to a partnership with Ohio University Chillicothe, students, faculty, staff, and community patrons have access to a collection of new and bestselling books and nontraditional items available for checkout inside the Stevenson Center.

The Community Collection features fiction and nonfiction books for all ages, as well as a hammock and disc golf kit, part of CRCPL’s Beyond Books offerings. It is stocked with popular bestsellers and books hot off the press, giving OHIO Chillicothe visitors priority access to these titles without waiting.

Patrons can browse materials and use the handy self-serve kiosk with a barcode scanner to check them out.

To check out items from the Community Collection, OHIO Chillicothe visitors are invited to register for a free CRCPL library card. Upon registration, patrons will receive a temporary barcode that will allow them to immediately check out 3 books and have access to all of CRCPL’s online resources, except hoopla. To obtain access to hoopla, visit any library location to upgrade your card.

Patrons wishing to check out more than 3 books or Beyond Books items must visit any CRCPL location and present their photo ID and proof of address.
