For Teens:

Graphic Novel Book Club at Howard S. Young Branch (Frankfort)

Graphic novels have become the hot new ticket in juvenile literature. They are like comic books with longer narratives, and they can be any genre of literature and reading level. They have created a love of books for many otherwise hesitant readers. We hope to build on this by offering a book club where we share and discuss all of our favorite things about graphic novels, enjoy snacks, and do some fun activities together.

Teen Book Club at the Kingston Branch

You choose your own book to read, then come tell us all about it. Would you recommend it to others? We'd love to hear!

For Kids:

The Red Panda Book Club at Northside Branch

Read books, eat snacks, play games, and more! Designed for school-aged emerging readers who want to build a love for literacy. Each month we'll read one short nonfiction book and the first book of a series!

Would you like to host your own Book Club?  Let us help!  With a Book Club Card, you can reserve multiple copies of the same title.  Once the books arrive at the library, we’ll call you and let you know they are available, and you can have your Book Club members stop by the library to check out their copies on their personal library cards.
