Visit the Listening Dog

Listening Dog

Having a rough day? Or want a companion to talk or read to?

Have a one-on-one visit with a licensed therapy dog at the library!

Reading to a licensed therapy dog allows children to develop their skills by reading aloud in a therapeutic, no-pressure environment.

Our Listening Dogs are great with kids and very gentle, and they love to listen!

Listening Dogs are available at the Main Library on Tuesdays from 3 to 5pm, and at the Northside Library on Mondays from 3 to 5pm.

Register for your 15-minute time slot through one of the events listed below.  Registration opens one week before each event.

If you have questions about the Listening Dog program, email youthservices@crcpl.org.
