Support the Library Fund of Ross County

Thank you!

#GivingTuesday, the annual international day of giving, is celebrated this year on November 27. Of course, you can donate to the library anytime, but #GivingTuesday is your reminder to help support the library (and other organizations!) with year-end giving.

Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library partners with the Columbus Foundation to process and invest our donations. Specifically, they manage the Library Fund for Ross County. Of course, all donations are tax deductible.

When you donate to the Library Fund for Ross County, you help to ensure the future of public libraries in the area. Did you know in 2017 there were nearly 300,000 visitors to 9 locations throughout Ross County? Over 400,000 items were circulated. Plus, the library is constantly updating and creating comfortable spaces for the community, building new collections, and working to expand our impact and reach.

While the library currently has a fairly consistent budget for library materials, salaries and upkeep of our buildings, public library funding can change and levies can fail. The Library Fund for Ross County may be a bridge in tough times, helping keep libraries open and current materials and online resources available. In other words, help us future-proof the library.

This year, when you make two donations to organizations in the Columbus Foundation directory, you will receive a $20 gift card redeemable at any of the 1000+ nonprofits in the Giving Store.

The Giving Store is a comprehensive resource for supporting favorite organizations and for finding new ones. The Giving Store’s online shopping cart allows you to bundle multiple gifts into one simple, convenient transaction. Low transaction fees on credit card gifts means more of your dollars go directly to supporting the nonprofits’ work.
