Patrons of all library locations as well as high-risk individuals are welcome to place holds and pick up items at the Northside Branch Library drive-through window, 550 Buckeye St., Chillicothe. The Northside Branch facility remains closed to the public at this time.
Items cannot be returned through the drive-through window. Please return items in the book drops at any library location. Returned items may stay on your account for up to one week while they are being quarantined. If you have returned books and they are still showing up on your account, this is why.
Beyond Books collection items like WiFi hotspots and music instruments are only available for checkout at the Main Library, 140 S. Paint St., Chillicothe. All Beyond Books items must be returned to the Main Library lobby.
You may either use the library catalog to place holds, or call 740-702-4145 and we will put items on hold for you. f we do not own a title that you’re looking for, you may fill out a Purchase Suggestion form and we will do our best to purchase it for our collection. Just like with other holds, we will call you when those items arrive. Please note that the process of obtaining your items may take a little longer than normal right now.
