Library Cards:

Anyone who lives, works or attends school in Ohio may obtain a free library card.  You need to bring identification showing your current address when you come in to get a card at any library location.  The fee for replacing a lost card is $1.00.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to obtain a card.  Parental permission is required for those under 18 years to borrow video tapes and DVDs and to access the internet using library computers.

You must have your library card with you to check out books and other library materials.  Your will also need it to access library computer services, both in the library and from home.

 Loan Periods:

7 days - "Feature" DVDs and magazines.

14 days - Music CDs, new books, Newbery, Caldecott, holiday books, and study guides.

28 days - Audio books, all other books and materials.

Most items can be renewed twice, if no one is waiting for them.  Items may be renewed or requested by phone or online.  For the first 30 days with a new library card, you may have a maximum of 10 items on your card at any given time.  After 30 days, you may borrow as many items as you wish to be responsible for.

Books and materials may be returned to the library location of your choice.  Upon request, materials can be sent for pick-up to any of the six locations.  Please return only books at the outside book drops at the County Branch locations.

Fines are charged for overdue materials:  ten cents per day per item with a $5.00 limit per item; $1.00 per day per overdue DVD with a $5.00 limit per item.  The full value of the item will be charged for lost or damaged items.
